Data Subject Access Requests

What is a DSAR

Data Subject Access Request

Irish organisations are bound by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018. When an individual asks for the personal data you hold on them—a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR)—the clock starts ticking.

A DSAR can come in many shapes and forms, from verbal requests, something informal like we see here or as a legal request via a solicitor or person working on a clients behalf.

ReGDPR equips Irish businesses with the tools, workflows and expertise to meet every DSAR deadline accurately, securely, and without draining internal resources.
